What age is the Mobile App Development course for?

It's designed for ages 5+ (grades 1-12). In the free trial class the tutor checks your child's level and confirms it's the right fit before you decide anything.

Do we need an iPhone or Android phone for app development?

A laptop or desktop computer is what your child needs for class. Apps can be tested on a computer; a phone is a bonus for trying them out.

Does my child need any prior experience?

Some familiarity with coding basics helps, but it isn't required: the free class doubles as a level check, and the tutor sets the starting point for your child.

How do the live Mobile App Development classes work?

Every class is taught live by a real tutor, never pre-recorded, and your child keeps the same tutor every lesson. Choose private 1-on-1 classes (45 minutes, 2–3 a week) or a small group of 2–4 students (60 minutes, 2 a week), scheduled in your time zone. The full course is 48 lessons over about 6 months.

How much do Mobile App Development classes cost?

Plus is $6 a class (groups of 3–4), Premier $12 (groups of 2–3) and Prime $15 (private 1-on-1), in US dollars. You pay only for the classes your child takes, and the first class is a free trial.

What does my child need for the classes?

A laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, a microphone and a stable internet connection, and an up-to-date Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. The tutor helps set everything up in the first class.

What if we want to stop midway?

You only pay for the classes your child takes: a full refund if no live class has been completed, and a pro-rata refund at any point after that, to your original payment method.
